Monday, October 30th, 2017This year I went again to the Spiel fair in Essen. I spent most of the time at the booth of my brother. The new game Albedo sold out quickly but a kick starter campaign for a second edition is currently running.
This year I bought only a handful of games.
I did however spend some money on scenery for WH40K.
What I never realised before is that there are apparently some official tournaments, like the world championship for Carcassonne.
Some booths, as usual, attract customers with costumed staff or puppets.

Monday, July 3rd, 2017I’m in London for a two day business trip. Prices are somewhat steep. I have a small room, less than 10 square meters I guess, for roughly 200 Euro per night. It’s not even in walking distance of where I need to be. But it’s in a nice area anyway.
Since I’m not that hungry I just went to Marks and Spencer on the corner and bought some snacks.

Sunday, December 18th, 2016So. Gestern im Kino gewesen. Bester Film seit ca. 1980.
Was mir sehr gut gefallen hat ist das es viele versteckte Anknüpfungen an Episode IV gab. Der Film war auf jeden Fall viel mehr Star Wars als Episode VII
Das einzige was mir nicht gefallen hat und was ich anders gemacht hätte war der Schluss. Dazu sage ich aber zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nichts (weil ja noch nicht jeder den Film gesehen hat)
